We are looking for a Research Scientist to join a dynamic team in College Park, MD.

Research Scientist – Level 1
The Level 1 Research Scientist evaluates and applies advanced scientific principles to support research and innovation initiatives. This role requires maintaining a strong understanding of emerging technologies, scientific theories, and industry trends to contribute to forward-looking research and potential product development.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct laboratory-based research and experimentation to support scientific studies and innovation efforts.
  • Execute scientific studies and analyze results to inform research direction and technical decisions.
  • Apply scientific principles and concepts to explore potential inventions, technologies, and products—often years in advance of formal product development.
  • Stay current with advancements in scientific literature, industry developments, academic research, and technical conferences.
  • Provide expert insight on the application of scientific theories and methodologies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or Physics from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a related field.
    • A Master’s degree may substitute for 1 year of experience.
    • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted (total of 6 years required).
  • Strong understanding of scientific research methods and analytical techniques.
  • Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and scientific advancements.

We are seeking Reverse Engineers to join a growing team supporting mission-critical work in Annapolis Junction, MD and San Antonio, TX. This role focuses on analyzing software and firmware to identify vulnerabilities, understand system behavior, and support exploitation and defensive efforts across complex environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct reverse engineering of software and firmware to understand functionality and identify vulnerabilities
  • Analyze compiled code, binary artifacts, and system behavior to uncover malicious or exploitable conditions
  • Perform static and dynamic binary analysis to assess threats and system weaknesses
  • Support development of tools, scripts, and methodologies for vulnerability discovery and exploitation
  • Conduct low-level debugging and analysis using assembly and other programming languages
  • Contribute to exploitation research and mission-driven technical analysis efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support both offensive and defensive cyber operations

Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science (CS) or related field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics) with coursework in algorithms, computer architecture, programming languages, data structures, logic, and advanced mathematics

We are looking for an Operational Language Analyst (Russian) to support SIGINT operations through the processing, analysis, and translation of voice and/or graphic language materials. This role contributes directly to mission success by enabling the extraction, interpretation, and reporting of critical foreign language information.

OLAs perform a range of cryptologic language processing tasks including translation, transcription, and gisting of foreign language materials. More senior levels contribute through quality control, mentoring, and advanced analysis of complex language data.

Core Responsibilities (All Levels):
  • Process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT operations
  • Translate, transcribe, and gist foreign language materials into clear, idiomatic English
  • Identify and extract essential elements of information (EEIs)
  • Support mission reporting through accurate and timely language analysis
  • Utilize standard tools and databases to support analysis and reporting

Requirements:


OLA Level 1

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ILR Level 2 in Audio and/or Text Translation (within 2 years)
  • 2 years of cryptologic language processing experience
    • At least 1 year with translation/transcription/gisting as primary duties
  • 1 year typing on an English keyboard
  • US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
OLA Level 2
  • Associate’s Degree (or +2 years experience in lieu)
  • ILR Level 3 in Audio and/or Text Translation (within 2 years)
4 years of cryptologic language processing experience
  • At least 2 years with translation/transcription/gisting as primary duties
  • No more than 1 year reporting as primary duty
  • 2 years must be within last 4 years
  • 1 year typing on an English keyboard
  • US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
OLA Level 3
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or +4 years experience in lieu)
  • ILR Level 3 in Audio and/or Text Translation (within 2 years)
10 years of combined relevant experience
  • At least 6 years in cryptologic language processing
  • At least 6 years in the required language
  • At least 1 year performing quality control (QC) at ILR 3
  • Recency requirements apply (within 6 years)
  • 1 year typing on an English keyboard
  • US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
OLA Level 4
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or +4 years experience in lieu)
  • ILR Level 3 in BOTH Audio and Text Translation (within 2 years)
15 years of combined relevant experience
  • At least 8 years in cryptologic language processing
  • At least 8 years in required language
  • At least 3 years performing QC at ILR 3
  • Recency requirements apply
  • 1 year typing on an English keyboard
  • US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our high-performing technical team in Reston, VA. In this role, you will architect, design, and implement innovative cloud solutions that harness the full potential of modern cloud technologies. You will build secure, scalable cloud infrastructures and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, optimized performance, and the efficient delivery of mission-aligned capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and decompose requirements to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures aligned with mission objectives
  • Lead the design and implementation of advanced cloud solutions with a strong emphasis on resilience, performance, and industry-standard security practices
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging cloud technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve system capabilities and enhance performance
  • Develop and enforce cloud governance strategies ensuring compliance with applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and security frameworks
  • Oversee automation of deployment, monitoring, and operational workflows to reduce manual effort and increase system efficiency
  • Create, manage, and secure cloud-based operating system images across multiple classification domains using AWS AMIs
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to support integration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and lifecycle maintenance
  • Promote collaboration, mentorship, and continuous knowledge sharing across technical teams

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • US citizenship with active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required
  • 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining advanced cloud solutions
  • Demonstrated expertise in AWS environments supporting multiple classification domains (e.g., IL5 to IL6+)
  • Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and EBS
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Proficiency managing and securing Linux and Windows Server systems in production environments
  • Hands-on scripting experience using Python and Bash for cloud automation
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and implementation of advanced security controls
  • Experience supporting operational environments, managing ticket queues, and leveraging knowledge bases for issue resolution
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical topics to diverse audiences
  • Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent 8140/8570 certification (valid for at least one year)
  • Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or SysOps Administrator) preferred
