We’re seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in supporting and evolving our enterprise network infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing system-level network architectures, enforcing security boundaries, and supporting datacenter virtualization. This position requires deep expertise in CAN/MAN/LAN environments, packet capture and analysis tools, and a strong command of the TCP/IP protocol stack, routing and switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access control mechanisms.

Responsibilities:
  • Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
  • Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
  • Able to support on-call requirements.
  • Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
  • Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers.
 
Requirements:

Level 1-

  • At least five (5) years of experience as a NE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional NE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree for a total of 10 years experience.
  • Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.

Level 2-

  • At least eight (8) years of experience as a NE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional NE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree for a total of 10 years experience.
  • Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.

Level 3-

  • At least twelve (12) years of experience as a NE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional NE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree for a total of 10 years experience.
  • Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.

Desired Experience:

  • A strong understanding of High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Infiniband and low-latency interconnects in HPC clusters
  • Familiarity with RDMA, QoS tuning, and network fabric optimization for compute-intensive workloads
  • Working knowledge of FiberChannel (FC) SAN, iSCSI, and data throughput tuning
  • Experience integrating storage networks with HPC compute nodes

Security Clearance:

  • A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

The Network Engineer Level 3 provides support for a program, organization, system, or enclave’s information assurance program. This role supports the implementation and enforcement of information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies and maintains the operational security posture of assigned systems.
The ISSO assists with security authorization activities in compliance with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and applicable DoD and ODNI policies.

Responsibilities-The Level 3 Network Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:
  • Minimize network latency and maximize data throughput through design analysis and network performance monitoring tools.
  • Develops algorithms used in modules or incorporated into models associated with the research and development of technologies and systems.
  • Ensures that all material received is inspected for evidence of tampering and, if any is found, submits a report of suspected physical incident immediately.
  • Configure and maintain organization's network diagrams and accreditations.
  • Integrate hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 requirements and other DoD/IC regulations.
  • Design, integrate, test, and deploy solutions to established network issues.
  • Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management.
  • Coordinate with appropriate dataflow organizations and end-customer recipients, follow-on data repositories and tasking organizations and mitigate potential adverse impacts on system-wide dataflow.
  •  Implement specific network solutions to support server requirements to include load-balancing, VPN’s, firewall contexts, Traffic Shapping Voice over IP (VOIP), GRE Tunneling, IP Security (IPSec) IP Encryption and Media over IP (MoIP), and network address translation (NAT) where appropriate.
  • Coordinate with the system engineering and dataflow efforts to ensure proper mission operations to minimize down time.
  • Design solutions, integrate, configure, deploy, test and provide ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices, interfaces and methodologies.
  • Applies Network Acceleration techniques such as Riverbed.

Requirements:
  • Twelve (12) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional network engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. 
  • Certifications: An IAT level III baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.

Qualifications:
  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline and an additional two (2) years of experience providing Network Engineering support may be substituted for the Master's degree.
  • Ten (10) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support and training commensurate with network engineering curriculum is required.
  • An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.
  • Cisco certification is not required.
  • US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with FSP security clearance required.

We're looking for a highly experienced Program Manager to join our growing team in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate will lead a program focused on application engineering and development, O&M, UI design, security assessment and authorization, cloud environment management, and project management. The Program Manager serves as the primary point of contact with the Customer and is responsible for overall contract execution, management, and delivery of services. The Program Manager oversees the Contractor's team, ensures compliance with contract terms and deliverables, and manages risks to the project.

Responsibilities:
  • Bring programmatic discipline to the management of complex IT systems, ensuring structured governance, clear milestones, and rigorous tracking of deliverables, risks, and dependencies across all program activities.
  • Oversee the integration of systems and management of technical programs, coordinating across engineering teams, stakeholders, and vendors to drive cohesive execution and ensure technical solutions align with mission requirements.
  • Handle sensitive data with discretion and sound judgment; apply established policies and best practices to safeguard information while consistently achieving mission outcomes in support of Customer objectives.
  • Lead the gathering and vetting of new technical requirements, engaging stakeholders at all levels to elicit, document, and validate needs, ensuring requirements are feasible, complete, and aligned with program scope.
  • Identify and define requirements and constraints pertaining to technical capabilities and solutions in support of training and educational exercises; coordinate with Customer staff to ensure technical readiness and effective exercise execution.
  • Provide technical leadership across assigned programs, guiding teams through complex problem-solving, facilitating informed decision-making, and serving as a trusted advisor to Customer personnel on matters of IT capability and program execution.
  • Actively cross-skill and backfill for teammates to maintain continuity of program operations; mentor team members and contribute to building a versatile, resilient workforce capable of sustaining mission-critical programs.
  • Leverage Microsoft cloud-based tools including Office 365, Azure, Entra, Intune, and Teams to support program operations, collaboration, device management, and identity governance across the enterprise.
  • Maintain strong interpersonal and communication relationships with all levels of Customer personnel; deliver clear, concise, and audience-appropriate briefings, status updates, and technical communications to inform decision-making.
  • Work closely with Customer staff, contractor personnel, and external vendors to coordinate program activities, manage expectations, and ensure alignment across all parties involved in program delivery.
  • Participate in the development of technical equipment specifications, translating operational requirements into detailed procurement and configuration standards that support program objectives.
  • Partner with external vendors to develop vendor quotations, evaluate pricing and technical proposals, and support the acquisition process to ensure cost-effective and technically sound procurement decisions.
  • Strategically oversee programs to proactively identify issues and dependencies; surface risks and blockers to Customer staff and work to resolve them as prioritized by the Government Task Manager with input from Customer’s leadership.

Requirements:
  • BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of experience managing complex IT programs or systems in the Intelligence Community
  • 5+ years of experience designing, documenting, and implementing an enterprise-level operational team in the technology space
  • 5+ years of experience managing internal and external audits; Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed (RACI) methodology framework; and business process reviews
  • Demonstrated experience bringing programmatic discipline to complex technical systems, including governance, milestone tracking, and risk management
  • Proven track record integrating systems and managing technical programs from requirements through delivery
  • Demonstrated experience handling sensitive data with discretion, sound judgment, and consistent adherence to applicable policies and classification requirements
  • Experience gathering, vetting, and documenting technical requirements in support of IT programs or mission-focused initiatives
