The Swift Group is looking for an experienced Senior Project Integrator to join a dynamic network and field engineering program in Herndon, VA.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Receive requirements and manage project planning, execution, and delivery for Sponsor customers.
  • Create, modify, and track project schedule, milestones, deliverables.
  • Utilize Customer tools and databases for information tracking, reporting, and data management.
  • Perform technical writing and project documentation.
  • Version control for draft and baseline documentation.
  • Track team and project action Items to completion.
  • Project purchasing, documentation, and research, coordinating directly with Procurement/Logistics Team
  • Produce project status reports.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, field customers, and security to verify requirements and facilitate deliveries.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • BS Information Systems or in another Management or IT field with emphasis on project management; experience can be substituted for degree
  • No OCONUS travel is required but opportunities are available
  • Experience in managing technical projects
  • Strong understanding of Customer field environment
  • Ability to work/coordinate with internal/external customers and vendors to gather requirements, develop plans, and execute to budgets/timelines as required
  • Ability to work and deliver on short suspense tasking and products in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously in a rapidly paced environment

We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing team on a dynamic, mission-focused program. In this role, the Cloud DevOps Engineer will architect, build, deploy, and sustain a robust cloud environment featuring Kubernetes clusters that host a wide range of software development, data processing, and mission applications. This position offers hands-on opportunities to work with containerized workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native platforms in support of the mission.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Architect, build, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes-based platforms supporting containerized software applications, data processing pipelines, and AI/ML workloads.
  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Build, enhance, and sustain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Helm, Kubernetes, Harbor, Nexus, and related technologies.
  • Deploy, orchestrate, monitor, and troubleshoot workloads across development, test, and production environments.

We are seeking Software Engineers to design, develop, test, deploy, document, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting a secure, large-scale, multi-tenant Linux computing environment.
These systems include high-performance compute platforms, distributed data processing pipelines, workflow orchestration services, operational data flows, and full-stack web applications that manage access to enterprise resources. Work may involve processing-intensive analytics, automation tooling, containerized microservices, real-time systems, data repositories, and platform integrations.

Multiple Openings
We are hiring multiple Software Engineers at varying levels (SWE-1 through SWE-4). While all roles operate within the same secure Linux and Kubernetes-based ecosystem, each position has a primary technical focus area.
Engineers are aligned with a single core focus area based on their experience and interests. Candidates are not expected to perform across all areas listed below.

Current focus areas include:
Platform & DevOps Engineering
  • Develop automation using Bash and Python
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Ansible
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Improve release management, build reliability, and deployment processes
Data Engineering & Distributed Processing

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications for multiple environments on AWS infrastructure
  • Build, upgrade, and transition platform-managed containerized services
  • Monitor application and system health, and troubleshoot and resolve software issues
  • Provide system expertise to assist with security accreditation activities
  • Work in close coordination with DevOps engineers to automate builds, deployments, and scaling processes
  • Support legacy system modernization through software refactoring and containerization

Requirements:
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 10+ years of relevant experience working in at least one of the following cloud environments (AWS preferred, Google Compute Environment, Azure or others)
  • Strong technical programming experience with Java
  • Proficiency in Linux including scripting (Bash, Python) and service management (cron, systemd)
  • Experience with deployment automation and continuous integration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
  • Experience with code repositories and build/development pipelines, using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, or Nexus.
  • Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, or Marathon)
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, RDS)
  • US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
  
Desired Experience:
  • Experience with distributed databases and streaming tools (Hadoop, Spark, Yarn, Hive, Trino)
  • Experience with Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) technologies
  • Experience with data access control, specifically Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC)
  • Familiarity with data science platforms (Anaconda, Jupyter, NiFi)
  • Experience with Python, C#, or similar languages will be beneficial
  • Knowledge of modern web development frameworks (Node.js, React, Angular)
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex systems that involves integrating open-source and GOTS software

In this role, you will support the design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise application messaging and authorization services in a mission-critical environment. This role supports capabilities that enable the secure derivation, transfer, and sharing of tools and information across multiple security domains and Communities of Interest (COIs), connecting users and systems worldwide.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working on complex software systems, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, and contributing to both new development and sustainment efforts in a secure environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting enterprise messaging and authorization services.
  • Implement software capabilities based on documented requirements, including translating system-level needs into component-level designs.
  • Support planning, execution, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities across the full software lifecycle.
  • Perform software reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure adherence to design requirements.
  • Document test procedures and results in accordance with program standards and engineering best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software problem reports, defects, and integration issues.
  • Apply appropriate software development and design methodologies aligned to the environment (Agile, iterative development, or structured SDLC as required).
  • Provide input to system design decisions, including:
  • hardware/software trade-offs
  • reuse of existing software components
  • integration of COTS/GOTS solutions in place of new development
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, network engineers, security personnel, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational and security requirements.

In this role, you develop, deploy, and operationalize scalable applications and ML-driven solutions leveraging modern AWS cloud technologies. You will work collaboratively with technical and program leadership to architect secure, high-performance systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy robust applications and data-driven services within AWS cloud environments
  • Collaborate with AI and data engineering teams to operationalize data pipelines and machine learning tasks
  • Provide day-to-day support for deploying Python-native ML pipelines and other cloud-based workloads
  • Contribute architectural leadership, technical guidance, and hands-on support for secure integration across mission systems
  • Support identity management system technologies, ensuring compliance with applicable security and accreditation requirements
  • Engage with senior technical leaders and government stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise in security architecture and cloud engineering

Requirements:
