We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing technical team in Reston, VA. In this role, you will architect, design, and implement innovative cloud solutions that enable our customers to fully leverage modern cloud technologies. You will help build robust, scalable infrastructures and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, optimized performance, and efficient delivery of secure cloud environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze system requirements to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures
  • Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of AWS and hybrid-cloud solutions that meet mission and security objectives
  • Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate provisioning and configuration
  • Implement cloud governance frameworks and ensure compliance with applicable security and regulatory standards
  • Oversee automation workflows for deployment, monitoring, and operations to reduce manual effort and increase system reliability
  • Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend enhancements to improve performance and cost-efficiency
  • Support both development and operations teams by integrating CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and performance tuning
  • Serve as a cloud expert, promoting collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning across engineering teams

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Mid-level candidates: 4-7 years of relevant experience
  • Senior-level candidates: 7-9 years of relevant experience
  • US citizenship with active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required
  • 4–7 years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining advanced cloud solutions
  • Demonstrated expertise in AWS environments supporting multiple classification domains (e.g., IL5 to IL6+)
  • Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and EBS
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Proficiency managing and securing Linux and Windows Server systems in production environments
  • Hands-on scripting experience using Python and Bash for cloud automation
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and implementation of advanced security controls
  • Experience supporting operational environments, managing ticket queues, and leveraging knowledge bases for issue resolution
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical topics to diverse audiences
  • Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent 8140/8570 certification (valid for at least one year)
  • Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or SysOps Administrator) preferred

Desired Experience:
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge of CI/CD frameworks and version control systems (Git, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Background in automation, monitoring, and performance tuning in secure production systems

The Swift Group is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Herndon, VA. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for deploying and maintaining multiple development teams’ AWS infrastructure along with utilizing CloudFormation and Ansible to automate the deployment of the entire infrastructure. They will manage all scripts and templates in GitHub utilizing git for version control, assist security with implementing security controls to ensure compliance, and actively monitor servers and infrastructure for issues while setting up and maintaining Jenkins pipelines.

Requirements: 
  • 5+ years of relevant DevOps experience
  • Experience managing Elastic Load Balancers (ELBs) and auto-scale groups with AWS EC2
  • Experience setting up alarms, dashboards, and alerts with AWS CloudWatch
  • Experience managing files and permissions in AWS S3
  • Experience building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with AWS CloudFormation using YAML templates
  • Strong Linux troubleshoots skills

Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic program in a world-class operations facility. The program requires a candidate who can support a broad range of fast-paced, quick reaction program requirements. The Engineer will provide electrical systems commissioning and energy related services for all phases of new construction projects as well as retro-commissioning, energy auditing, energy modeling, and monitoring-based commissioning of existing facilities. They will work with mechanical engineering and software controls to plan, draw, and implement the installation and recap of IT infrastructures. Candidates in this position will travel up to 25-30% OCONUS.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for multiple electrical systems, both CONUS and OCONUS, to include analysis and reporting of electrical data and metrics
  • Maintain documentation pertaining to the various projects, design drawings, technical reports, and engineering activities
  • Oversee functionality and provide engineering analysis for the Customer’s mission critical OCONUS facility

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of electrical engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited ABET University in Electrical Engineering or other STEM-related field

This position works closely with the Customer to help set the technical direction for the department. The ideal architect will advise on a scalable, hybrid cloud integration for the program and support ongoing innovation to the data environment. The role requires collaboration with software engineers, data scientists, analysts, project managers, and other engineering groups. Responsibilities:

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Technician Level 2 supports and manages Occupational Safety and Health programs in compliance with OSHA regulations, the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Department of Defense (DoD) requirements, and other applicable standards. This role ensures a safe and compliant laboratory and workplace environment through proactive monitoring, inspections, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain environmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with applicable guidelines.
  • Identify, assess, and address environmental safety and health concerns across the workplace.
  • Maintain and monitor hazardous chemical inventories and ensure proper tracking of all materials entering the lab environment.
  • Conduct routine workplace safety inspections, audits, and compliance assessments.
  • Coordinate with project leaders to develop and implement remediation plans for identified health and safety risks.
  • Ensure availability and accuracy of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) prior to introducing substances into the work environment.
  • Serve as a liaison with Occupational Health, Environmental & Safety Services (OHESS) and other regulatory bodies.
  • Assist scientific and technical staff in developing SOPs that incorporate safe work practices.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, ensuring proper documentation and reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure hazardous materials are properly labeled, stored, and handled in compliance with safety standards.
  • Monitor and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure readiness and compliance.
  • Oversee routine and post-incident decontamination procedures.

  • Coordinate with emergency services as needed in response to incidents.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Natural Resources, Public Health, or Environmental Health from an accredited institution.
  • 7 years of relevant experience in environmental protection, safety, and health services.
    • A Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
    • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted (total of 11 years required).
  • Hazardous Material Manager Certification (required).
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, CFR, and DoD safety regulations.

  • Develop exploitation plans and adapt operational approaches as mission requirements evolve.
  • Support cyber operations through network analysis, vulnerability analysis, operational planning, and exploitation-focused activities.
  • Analyze network traffic, systems, and communications data to support cyber operational objectives.

Requirements:
  • Experience in computer or information systems design, development, and/or analysis roles.
  • Experience may include hardware/software engineering, programming, computer or network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and systems administration.
  • Experience applying cyber operational knowledge to adversary networks, network defenses, and operational capabilities.
  • Understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity concepts, and cyber operational environments.
  • Completion of military cyber training such as JCAC may count toward relevant experience requirements.
    • Foreign language proficiency may be considered toward experience requirements where applicable. Recent ILR scores are required to substantiate language proficiency.
  • Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field such as: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, Computer Security

You will help with design and then implement all levels of the application: data layer, application code, and user interface. You will work with the lead developer to design, code, deliver APIs, and integrate with other software systems and databases. The position is in Chantilly, VA.

Requirements:
  • 5 - 7 years’ experience with Python with development of an application in Flask, Django, FastAPI; including developing associated testing (unit and integration)
  • Beginner to intermediate experience (2 – 3 years) with SQL, familiarity with SQLAlchemy or other ORM technologies
  • 6 months – 3 years’ experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS
  • 6 months – 3 years’ experience with React, Angular, or Vue
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience developing on AWS. Must be familiar with building and deploying containers
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
