We are looking for a Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist to work in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist will design, develop, and apply solutions to complex cryptologic and computational problems. This role requires applying advanced computer science and mathematical techniques to analyze data, develop algorithms, and solve mission-driven challenges.
Work will involve designing, developing, and evaluating mathematical models, analytic methods, and computational techniques to support research, engineering, and cryptologic problem-solving efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience in computer science (theoretical or applied), including algorithm development and analytic problem solving
  • Strong foundation in mathematics and computational methods
  • Experience designing, developing, and evaluating models, methods, and/or techniques to solve complex problems
  • Exposure to areas such as high performance computing, engineering (electrical or computer), or applied mathematics
  • Strong analytical and discovery-oriented mindset

Requirements:

Level 2:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, OR
  • A Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, OR
  • A Doctoral degree with 2 years of relevant experience, OR
  • An Associate’s degree with 7 years of clearly related experience
  • Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics (including Applied Math), or related field
  • Must include at least one programming course and four upper-level math courses (Calculus and above)

Level 3:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, OR
  • A Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, OR
  • A Doctoral degree with 4 years of relevant experience, OR
  • An Associate’s degree with 10 years of clearly related experience
  • Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics (including Applied Math), or related field
  • Must include at least one programming course and four upper-level math courses (Calculus and above)

Level 4:

Responsibilities:
The Cryptologic Computer Scientist will design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework. This position will require computer science skills (operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structures). 

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with Python, Spark, and working with large-scale data.
  • Must have a strong background in network protocol analysis.
  • The ideal candidate will be inquisitive and have a discovery-focused mindset.
  • Level 2:
    • 5 years of relevant experience in the following areas: computer system research, simulation/ model development and prototyping, software design, programming, computational science, algorithm analysis, design, and reverse engineering/ designing/ developing to include hardware and/ or software.

  • 1 year TCP/IP fundamentals

  • 2 years SIEM experience (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight, Kibana)

Responsibilities:
  • Use cyber defense tools to monitor, detect, analyze, categorize, and perform initial triage of anomalous activity. 
  • Generate cybersecurity cases (including event’s history, status, and potential impact for further action) and route as appropriate. 
  • Perform advanced manual analysis to hunt previously unidentified threats. 
  • Identify cyber-attack phases based on knowledge of common attack vectors and network layers, models and protocols. 
  • Apply techniques for detecting host- and network-based intrusions. 
  • Analyze malicious activity to determine weaknesses exploited, exploitation methods, effects on system and information. 
  • Perform event correlation using information gathered from a variety of sources within the enterprise to gain situational awareness and determine the effectiveness of an observed attack. 
  • Possess deep knowledge of active directory abuse used by attackers for lateral movement and persistence. 
  • Perform after-action reviews of team products to ensure completion of analysis. 
  • Lead and mentor team members as a technical expert. 

Requirements:
  • Eight (8) years of demonstrated experience as a CDA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • A technical bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for two (2) years of CDA experience.
  • Two (2) years of demonstrated and practical experience in TCP/IP fundamentals. 
  • Two (2) years of demonstrated experience with tcpdump or Wireshark.
  • Three (3) years of demonstrated experience using security information and event management suites (such as Splunk, ArcSight, Kibana, LogRhythm).
  • Three (3) years of demonstrated experience in network analysis and threat analysis software utilization.
  • CSSP Analyst baseline certification (e.g., CEH, CySA+, CFR, etc.)
  • IAT Level I or II certification
  • Computing Environment (CE) certification for supported systems
  • Global Information Assurances Certificate (GIAC) OR Global Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

Security Clearance:
  • A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to support mission-critical intelligence operations. In this role, you will apply advanced data science, analytics, and intelligence tradecraft to complex GEOINT and multi-INT mission sets. You will work alongside integrated intelligence teams to modernize analytic workflows, develop repeatable analytic pipelines, and operationalize advanced methodologies that directly support national security objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep analytic expertise, strong technical leadership, and proven experience supporting Intelligence Community customers in operational environments. This position is in Doral, FL.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Apply advanced analytic methodologies to answer complex intelligence questions across GEOINT and multi-INT domains
  • Develop, maintain, and manage structured and unstructured analytic datasets supporting intelligence production
  • Design and implement machine learning and statistical models (e.g., regression, clustering, classification, time-series analysis) to support mission requirements
  • Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis to prepare datasets for advanced analytics
  • Evaluate model performance, conduct error analysis, and communicate analytic results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Operationalize analytic models into scalable, repeatable workflows and production pipelines
  • Support GEOINT analysis using imagery, geospatial, and spatio-temporal datasets to identify trends, relationships, and mission-relevant events
  • Conduct multi-INT research to augment imagery analysis and provide operational context
  • Collaborate with cross-functional intelligence and engineering teams in support of enterprise-level analytic environments
  • Identify capability gaps, system enhancements, and emerging technologies that improve mission delivery
  • Provide technical and analytic leadership to teams solving complex intelligence problems
 
Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (a combination of experience, certifications, and training may be considered)
  • Demonstrated Intelligence Community experience supporting national security missions
  • Expertise in advanced analytic methodologies and documented analytic tradecraft
  • Experience in data mining, database manipulation, and maintaining analytic datasets
  • Proficiency with Python and/or R and scientific computing libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas)
  • Experience applying machine learning or statistical modeling techniques to mission datasets
  • Understanding of modern data science best practices, including model governance, reproducibility, transparency, and lifecycle management
  • Proven ability to communicate analytic findings clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
  • Experience working in collaborative, mission-focused team environments
 
Desired Experience:
  • Experience building and maintaining GEOINT, SIGINT, or OSINT datasets aligned to mission needs
  • Experience supporting DoD and Intelligence Community reporting, briefings, and formal analytic products
  • Proficiency with analytic and visualization tools such as Tableau, MATLAB, JEMA, MapLarge, Brewlytics, or similar
  • Familiarity with FADE tools including MIST, INTELBOOK, LINX, and WATCH BOX
  • Experience extracting, modeling, and visualizing multi-INT datasets for descriptive and predictive analysis
  • Knowledge of Structured Observation Management tools and Object-Based Production methodologies
  • Experience applying deep learning or computer vision techniques (e.g., CNNs, segmentation, object detection) to GEOINT data
  • Familiarity with distributed analytics frameworks such as Spark, Dask, or Ray
  • Experience with API-driven ingestion, ETL pipelines, or microservice-based analytic architectures
  • Experience developing analytic dashboards or mission applications
  • Familiarity with ICD 203 (Analytic Standards) and ICD 206
  • Understanding of Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCOs), USSOUTHCOM AOR, and coca cultivation and production areas
  • Ability to shape and frame analytic outputs to directly support operational planning and decision-making

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join a robust team in Annapolis Junction and/or Laurel, MD. This role focuses on extracting insights and value from large, complex datasets to support mission needs. The ideal candidate applies a blend of mathematical, statistical, computational, and domain-specific expertise to analyze data, develop models, and communicate clear, actionable findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply two or more core data science skill areas, including:
    • Mathematical, computational, and statistical foundations
    • Data processing, management, curation, visualization, and reproducible analytic workflows
    • Data modeling, inference, prediction, and domain-specific analysis
  • Compile, integrate, and manage data from multiple sources using computer scripting, APIs, and analytic tools.
  • Develop and apply statistical analyses, data models, and quantitative methods to explore, assess, and characterize large and complex datasets.
  • Design and build rapid analytic prototypes to generate metrics and insights, including performance metrics for sensor or system data.
  • Develop reproducible data analysis workflows using Python and common data science tools (e.g., Jupyter notebooks, Pandas).
  • Interact with APIs and existing tools to retrieve, process, and analyze data; develop or extend tools as needed to support analytics.
  • Translate mission or operational questions into technical and analytic requirements and corresponding analytic approaches.
  • Evaluate data quality, structure, and limitations, and account for these factors in analytical methods and conclusions.
  • Communicate complex analytical methods, results, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Assess and recommend analytic techniques, tools, and technical solutions based on evolving data collection, processing, storage, and analytics capabilities and constraints.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support data-driven decision-making in mission environments.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant data analysis or data science experience
  • Experience with data compilation and integration from multiple sources using scripting and APIs
  • Experience applying statistical analysis and data modeling techniques
