We are seeking an experienced Somali Language Analyst with Native capability to provide native language and cultural expertise while performing tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations. Tasks will include but are not limited to:
  • Perform audio translation and/or [text] translation from the required language(s) into idiomatic, standard American English. 
  • Ability to comprehend written and/or spoken material in the required language that includes references and vocabulary related to common social situations and everyday life in countries where the language is widely spoken.
  • Understanding of broad vocabulary and commonly spoken forms of the required language. 

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct reverse engineering of software and/or firmware to analyze functionality and identify vulnerabilities
  • Analyze compiled code, binaries, and system behavior to identify malicious or exploitable conditions
  • Perform static and dynamic analysis in support of mission objectives
  • Support or develop tools, scripts, and methodologies for exploitation and vulnerability discovery
  • Apply low-level programming and debugging techniques, including assembly-level analysis
  • Collaborate with mission teams to support operational and technical objectives
  • (Higher levels) Lead reverse engineering efforts, develop novel methodologies, and mentor junior engineers

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • ILR Skill Level 3 Score in Audio Translation Performance.  
  • One (1) Year experience typing on an English keyboard.
  • Native Capability is defined has having learned the language since birth and having been formally educated in the language for a minimum of 10 years.

We are looking for an Operational Language Analyst (Spanish) to support SIGINT operations through the processing, analysis, and translation of voice and/or graphic language materials. This role contributes directly to mission success by enabling the extraction, interpretation, and reporting of critical foreign language information.

OLAs perform a range of cryptologic language processing tasks including translation, transcription, and gisting of foreign language materials. More senior levels contribute through quality control, mentoring, and advanced analysis of complex language data.

Core Responsibilities (All Levels):
  • Process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT operations
  • Translate, transcribe, and gist foreign language materials into clear, idiomatic English
  • Identify and extract essential elements of information (EEIs)
  • Support mission reporting through accurate and timely language analysis
  • Utilize standard tools and databases to support analysis and reporting

Requirements:


OLA Level 1

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ILR Level 2 in Audio and/or Text Translation (within 2 years)

We are seeking System Vulnerability Analysts to join a growing team supporting mission-focused work in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and assessing vulnerabilities across operational and developmental systems to strengthen security posture and support mission objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform vulnerability assessments of operational and developmental systems to identify security weaknesses and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze system configurations, security controls, and network architectures to assess risk and identify potential exploit paths.

Required Qualifications:

  • Understanding of operating systems, network protocols, system architectures, and security controls.

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our high-performing team on a dynamic, mission-focused program in Tysons Corner, VA.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Domain / Systems Administration engineering of the Mission LAN, and oversee the maintenance, optimal function, and patching of the LAN’s operating system, and the GOTS, COTS, and custom software products running on it
  • Perform system startup, shutdown, backups, and restores; maintain records of the Cartoon operating system upgrades/changes for reporting purposes
  • Conduct virus scanning and firewall protection of the Mission LAN in compliance with the Customer’s ISSM
  • Provide Data Transfer Officer (DTO) services between networks as needed by the Customer
  • Coordinate assistance from the Customer’s corporate resources when required, if encountering a problem that the Contractor team cannot solve
  • Ensure security compliance with the Customer’s ISSM for all components of the network
  • Perform other system administration duties as requested by the Customer

Requirements:
  • BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, IT, GIS, or related field where computer programming and application is required
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Systems Administrator 
  • 1 year of experience administering a system with the Customer’s system security control
  • US citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance

Desired Experience:
  • Experience with Customer program performing software development, coordinating IT services, or administering systems
  • Experience with the Customer’s Authority to Operate (ATO) process for mission systems, and coordinating ATO packages for a Customer enclave and completing all of the tasks required from the Customer’s ISSM that are necessary to obtain ATO status for that enclave

This role is ideal for a motivated IT professional with a passion for system reliability, performance optimization, and supporting mission-critical infrastructure. As a key member of our technical operations group, the SA will:

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
  • Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
  • Configure and manage enterprise-grade operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Rocky Linux, and Windows. Perform OS installation, patching, and tuning; troubleshoot system and network components; and implement enhancements to improve reliability, performance, and scalability across diverse environments.
  • Support the description of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware
  • Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration
  • Support and maintain HPC tools such as Slurm, PBS, or Grid Engine
  • Manage distributed file systems like Lustre or GPFS, and troubleshoot I/O performance issues
  • Monitor and maintain high-speed interconnects such as InfiniBand, Slingshot, or Omni-Path

Requirements:

The System Administrator provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Swift is seeking a Systems Administrator (SA) to join our growing team in Annapolis Junction, MD and Bluffdale, Utah.

This role is ideal for a motivated IT professional with a passion for system reliability, performance optimization, and supporting mission-critical infrastructure. As a key member of our technical operations group, the SA will:

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
  • Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
  • Configure and manage enterprise-grade operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Rocky Linux, and Windows. Perform OS installation, patching, and tuning; troubleshoot system and network components; and implement enhancements to improve reliability, performance, and scalability across diverse environments.
  • Support the description of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware
  • Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration
  • Support and maintain HPC tools such as Slurm, PBS, or Grid Engine
  • Manage distributed file systems like Lustre or GPFS, and troubleshoot I/O performance issues
  • Monitor and maintain high-speed interconnects such as InfiniBand, Slingshot, or Omni-Path

Requirements:

Level 1-At least five (5) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • Experience integrating and managing Special Purpose Devices (SPD) such as FPGAs, ASICs, and GPUs, ensuring seamless hardware/software interaction and optimal performance.

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our high-performing team on a dynamic, mission-focused program. In this role, you will support a comprehensive suite of applications doing systems administration and Tier 2 help desk support in a 24/7 environment. The role is in McLean, VA. 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide systems administration and Tier 2 help desk support in a 24/7/365 operational environment for a comprehensive suite of communication and messaging applications used between Customer headquarters, field offices, and industry partners
  • Administer message storage and retrieval systems, including search functionality, search term storage, and associated administrative tools
  • Implement and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) and advanced security controls to protect sensitive information
  • Provision, manage, and dispose of sensitive account bins used to control access to families of protected documents and systems
  • Participate in a merged support team structure that provides Tier 1-3 support across multiple mission applications
  • Support an agreed-upon shift schedule, including a designated team lead responsible for managing staffing assignments and ensuring appropriate coverage per shift
  • Communicate any proposed schedule changes to the Customer in advance for approval
  • Deliver Tier 2 support for the Customer's proprietary communication system, resolving escalated issues that Tier 1 could not address, including break-fixes, configuration issues, and hardware repairs
  • Oversee daily performance and operations of IT messaging systems
  • Maintain accurate records of daily data communication transactions, problems encountered, remedial actions taken, and installation activities
  • Log incidents and provide direct support to end users
  • Serve as a tiered point of contact for all issues related to Customer-supported applications
  • Provide technical assistance to messaging system users, with a focus on messaging-specific support
  • Maintain a service-oriented perspective, understanding the relationships, dependencies, and requirements among hardware, software components, and supporting organizations
  • Respond to user questions and resolve issues submitted via telephone, email, or the Customer's ticketing system
  • Assist users with the operation and use of specific application messaging systems
  • Respond to incidents or findings from system monitoring tools, taking proactive, remedial, or preventative action to ensure service continuity and system availability in line with service-level objectives
  • Monitor daily operational tasks, including environment health, spills, message rejections, message flow, and abnormalities across current and legacy messaging systems
  • Develop, follow, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all relevant processes
  • Review SOPs at least every six months and provide recommendations to the Customer for needed updates
  • Operate within a shared help desk environment and become familiar with triage processes for help desk calls related to mission applications outside one's primary focus area
  • Provide basic Tier 1 or Tier 2 support for mission applications beyond the primary messaging system, as needed

Requirements:
  • Experience answering questions via emails, hotline, and tickets
  • Experience answering users' inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems
  • Experience entering commands and observing system function to verify correct operations and detect errors
  • Experience installing and performing minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications
  • Experience overseeing the daily performance of computer systems
  • Experience setting up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of communication, operating systems, and appropriate software
  • Experience maintaining record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities

The ideal candidate brings a deep technical background across enterprise systems integration, wireless and mobile infrastructure, secure communications, and cloud technologies, with extensive experience operating in mission-driven environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end systems engineering efforts to transition prototype capabilities into production-grade enterprise solutions with high organizational visibility.
  • Conduct new hardware testing, integration, and validation to ensure interoperability across complex, multi-domain architectures.
  • Maintain and manage production environments, including patching, code stream modifications, software upgrades, and configuration updates for customers and stakeholders.
  • Design, document, and maintain systems architecture diagrams using Visio and similar tools, capturing current and target state configurations.
  • Design, build, maintain, and support Linux server infrastructure (CentOS, Ubuntu) and virtualized environments.
  • Administer and troubleshoot physical and virtual server environments using VMware, vSphere, and related hypervisor technologies.
  • Manage and maintain MariaDB databases and associated backend systems.
  • Support system accreditation processes, ensuring all infrastructure meets sponsor security and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure devices connect successfully to secured wireless networks and troubleshoot connectivity issues across enterprise wireless environments.
  • Manage and support mobile device operations and transitions, including the engineering of new enterprise mobile device solutions collaborating across multiple technical teams.
  • Meet and enforce all security requirements for wireless infrastructure in compliance with applicable standards.
  • Leverage AWS technologies including VPC, EC2 instances, and S3 buckets to support mission infrastructure and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Manage Certificate Authorities (CAs) and issue certificates to network devices and Identity Services Engine (ISE) platforms.
  • Support and administer network access control (NAC) solutions using Cisco ISE to enforce endpoint compliance.
  • Utilize OpenXT and related secure endpoint technologies in support of program requirements.
  • Utilize SPLUNK and other analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and correlate real-time network and systems data.
  • Employ automated network management tools to perform monitoring and control of managed elements in accordance with established procedures.
  • Serve as a Tier 3/4 escalation resource for complex systems and network incidents; conduct root cause analysis and drive resolution.
  • Monitor mission WANs distributed across worldwide enterprise architectures and develop, analyze, and report performance metrics for system requirements assurance.
  • Collaborate with enterprise network counterparts to maintain and deliver the infrastructure backbone supporting mission operations.
  • Deploy solutions to customers and provide hands-on training across all customer segments.
  • Coordinate with Branch Chiefs, Technical Directors, and program leadership on the strategic direction of key projects.
  • Respond to and resolve trouble tickets and customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to organizational best practices, engineering standards, and technical playbooks.

Requirements:
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in systems engineering, integration, and operations in support of government or intelligence community programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in Linux server administration (CentOS 7, Ubuntu) and Windows desktop/server environments.
  • Proficiency with virtualization technologies including VMware and vSphere.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services (VPC, EC2, S3) in support of enterprise or government architectures.
