We are seeking Target Analyst Reporters (TARs) to support mission-focused intelligence operations in Annapolis Junction, MD and Bluffdale, UT. This role is ideal for analysts who enjoy connecting disparate information, developing target knowledge, and producing high-quality intelligence reporting that drives mission outcomes.

The TAR will research, analyze, evaluate, and report intelligence information using a combination of SIGINT, cyber operations, network analysis, collection activities, and collateral intelligence sources. The successful candidate will work closely with analysts and collectors to identify opportunities, refine collection requirements, develop actionable intelligence, and produce timely reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Research, analyze, and evaluate intelligence information from multiple sources.

Job Description

Swift is looking for a Technical Integration Engineer to prepare, configure, secure, integrate, and support mission systems, end-user hardware, and networking infrastructure. This role owns the lifecycle of communication and computing assets from initial configuration and deployment through sustainment and troubleshooting. The engineer will support tactical networking environments, TAK server infrastructure, and end-user systems while ensuring all assets are secure, compliant, and fully operational in support of mission requirements. The work location is in Northern Virginia (the location can be shared during a phone interview).

Responsibilities:
  • Configure, administer, and maintain TAK Server environments and associated ATAK/WinTAK clients.
  • Assemble, configure, test, and deploy Android smartphones, tablets, and laptops (Windows/Mac/Chromebook) according to technical specifications.
  • Install, update, and customize operating systems and mission applications, including security tools and supporting software.
  • Create and apply system images for efficient and repeatable deployment of devices and systems.
  • Enroll and manage devices in Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms to enforce security and configuration policies.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain routers, switches, wireless access points, and related networking equipment, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic firewall configurations.
  • Configure and support server infrastructure and system services required to enable reliable communications and data sharing.
  • Provide break/fix support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues, including diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning devices and network components.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration, networking, IT support, technical integration, or related fields (1-5 years acceptable depending on breadth of experience).
  • Experience setting up, configuring, and managing TAK Server environments.
  • Creating and maintaining Zello servers as well as imagery servers.
  • Creating and developing all new and emerging technologies.
  • Strong background in networking and systems management.
  • Solid understanding of core networking principles and technologies, including routers, switches, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic firewall concepts.
  • Experience supporting Windows and Android operating systems; familiarity with Linux, iOS, and ChromeOS is a plus.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document work and support end users in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic mission requirements.

Desired Experience:
  • Prior military communications experience, or similar backgrounds.

We are looking for a Technical Expert Storage to join in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level storage troubleshooting in support of virtualization products such as VMWare, Xen, and Solaris containers.
  • Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level storage troubleshooting of cloud-based implementations, such as HADOOP. 
  • Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level storage troubleshooting in support of RedHat, Suse, and Solaris operating systems, as they relate to the file service and FC connectivity.
  • Demonstrated experience as a storage architect.
  • Installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting and administration of:
  • SGI IRIX based operating system
  • SGI systems with direct attached and FC SAN storage
  • Network appliance clusters with direct attached and FC SAN storage
  • Network appliance and SGI IRIX supported applications
  • Multi-vendor clustered file systems such as GPFS, Lustre
  • Brocade FC switch network
  • Enterprise class arrays
  • Solid State Disk (SSD)
  • NFS/CIFS based server/storage appliance
  • HPSE
  • Data Domain and similar deduplication products
  • Cloud-based storage solutions such as HADOOP, and IBM BigInsights
  • Trouble ticket management using Remedy.

Requirements:
  • 10 years’ experience (with degree or 15 without) in a large and complex IT environment providing industry and government recognized functional expertise with the skills listed above. 
  • US citizenship and an active security clearance required

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Telecommunications Specialist to join a dynamic communications and field engineering program in McLean, VA. We are open to candidates with experience in one of these two tracks: operations/crisis communications (OPS) or tactical radio/field communications (TCS). This position is in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities:
  • Operations (OPS) Track: Day shift position with a typical schedule of 5PM–5AM (3 on/4 off, 4 on/3 off) supporting a 24/7 Crisis Communications Operations Center
  • Tactical/Field (TCS) Track: Standard schedule with OCONUS TDY up to 50% (including hazardous areas as required) and CONUS TDY up to 10%
  • Provide satellite voice/data, landline, telephone, secure and non-secure voice troubleshooting and technical support to the Customer and various government agencies.
  • Operate, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot communications equipment including routers, switches, servers, leased lines, cryptographic systems, UHF radio equipment, and tactical radio platforms (ICOM/Motorola/Harris).
  • Support a 24/7 Operations Center environment with a focus on incident and event management, crisis communications, and situational awareness.
  • Maintain integrity of multiple high-speed data links and globally deployed communications systems.
  • Develop and maintain network and system monitoring tools; use data analytics and data science tools to innovate best practices for predictive monitoring.
  • Provide senior-level project management, administrative, and engineering support for Customer communications-based projects.
  • Plan, design, install, program, test, and field-train personnel on tactical radio systems and associated equipment.
  • Conduct site surveys and explain technical procedures and results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain familiarity with and apply current installation procedures (CIP), Customer-specific systems (BASIS, GENESIS), and approval and message preparation requirements.
  • Manage project procurement processes; coordinate with Procurement and Logistics teams on purchasing, documentation, and delivery.
  • On occasion, provide VIP communications support to senior government officials and executive-level Staff Officers.
  • Adhere to security, safety, counter-intelligence, and applicable communications policies and procedures.
  • Perform extended TDYs in field environments, including dangerous or hostile areas as mission requirements dictate.
  • Support field installations, modifications, upgrades, and Tier 1/Tier 2 troubleshooting of equipment and systems.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in telecommunications, communications systems, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or IT-related field; equivalent relevant experience may be substituted
  • Experience providing technical support on a rotational or extended basis across multiple areas of the telecommunications spectrum
  • Knowledge of operations, technical, and security requirements for a 24/7 Crisis Communications Facility
  • Familiarity with communications hardware and software including switches, routers, servers, STE, IDNX, leased line, cryptographic, and UHF radio equipment
  • Experience with tactical communications equipment including ICOM, Motorola, Harris platforms; ability to program and install tactical radio systems
  • Direct experience with Customer systems including BASIS, GENESIS, approval memos, and message preparation
  • Solid understanding of current installation procedures (CIP) and ability to field-train personnel
  • Ability to maintain integrity of multiple high-speed data links
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously during emergency or high-tempo situations
  • Working knowledge of procurement processes and coordination with logistics teams
  • Knowledge of policies and regulations related to the completion of assigned work
  • Ability to excel independently and as part of a team in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required 

Desired Experience:
  • Systems Operations Center (SOC) / Network Operations Center (NOC) experience
  • Functional experience with network and data analytics tools such as SPLUNK, Riverbed, StealthWatch, Network Node Manager, and HP OpenView
  • Data science technology, strategies, methods, and applications
  • Incident and event management experience
  • Knowledge of RF concepts and signal propagation
  • Familiarity with Customer’s communications protocols and Customer-specific procedures
  • Experience deploying to Customer or DoD field environments
  • Experience supporting executive-level Staff Officers and VIP communications requirements
  • Rotational schedule experience
