We are looking for a Applied Research Mathematician to join a growing team in Annapolis Junction.

The Applied Research Mathematician will plan, develop, coordinate, and perform work involving the development and application of mathematical methods to solve complex problems across a variety of subject areas. Work requires applying rigorous mathematical reasoning, analytic techniques, and efficient problem-solving approaches to produce logically sound and defensible results.
This role will leverage advanced mathematics, algorithm development, and modeling techniques to support mission-driven analysis and research efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience with mathematical modeling, algorithm development, and analytic problem-solving
  • Strong foundation in advanced mathematics, including areas such as discrete mathematics, linear algebra, probability, and statistics
  • Ability to apply mathematical methods to real-world problems in a research or applied setting
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to rigor, accuracy, and logical consistency

Requirements:

Level 2:

Swift is looking for an Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Specialist to support a dynamic program in Dulles, VA. In this role, you will guide information systems through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle, manage security documentation, and serve as a trusted advisor to both technical teams and senior leadership. You will work within a collaborative, mission-focused environment where your expertise in INFOSEC policy, cyber risk, and stakeholder communication directly supports critical security programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute A&A activities in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) methodology, ensuring systems meet all applicable security requirements for authorization
  • Manage and maintain document repositories and security databases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and version control of all A&A artifacts
  • Utilize process tracking and document control software to monitor authorization milestones, track findings, and maintain auditable records of A&A activities
  • Develop, review, and update security documentation including System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessments, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
  • Deliver clear written communications and briefings on cybersecurity posture, risk findings, and authorization status to both technical teams and senior non-technical leadership
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight across organizational levels, translating complex cybersecurity concepts into actionable recommendations for diverse audiences
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks and deliverables to ensure on-schedule completion of all A&A milestones and program commitments
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of INFOSEC policies, regulations, and guidance to ensure compliant and defensible security practices
  • Assess and advise on cyber risks including malware, zero-day vulnerabilities, and denial-of-service threats, along with associated mitigations across computer and network environments
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers at all organizational levels, delivering excellent service and fostering a collaborative approach to security challenges

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Assurance, Computer Engineering, or a closely related IT/cybersecurity discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of A&A experience
  • Experience applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF) methodology in a professional environment
  • Experience managing document repositories and databases
  • Experience with process tracking and document control software
  • Strong writing, communications, and briefing skills with experience presenting to varied audiences
  • Experience providing technical guidance and oversight to both technical practitioners and non-technical, senior-level personnel
  • Proven ability to organize, plan, and prioritize multiple tasks to deliver work on schedule

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to support the full lifecycle development and maintenance of cloud-native and stand-alone enclave solutions, making sure they are secure, scalable, and compliant with organizational and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record executing modernization projects in secure environments and serves as a key contributor on a collaborative, fast-paced software development team. This role is in Chantilly, VA.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain security controls for cloud and enclave systems, including IAM, vulnerability management, system hardening, and AMI refresh cycles; automate processes where applicable.
  • Manage AWS infrastructure including S3 buckets, EC2 instances, subnets, auto-scaling groups, IAM users/groups, load balancers, security groups, and network ACLs.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and cost; identify and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Apply DevSecOps principles throughout the system lifecycle; deliver releasable software each iteration in alignment with Agile frameworks.
  • Design and document system architecture from technical requirements; develop and maintain system maintenance and end-of-life plans.
  • Establish and track metrics for system performance, availability, and security.
  • Collaborate with users, developers, and Sponsor organizations to identify priorities, resolve infrastructure issues, and support security accreditation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, CIS, or Computer Engineering; minimum 10 years of cloud engineering experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of software development experience.
  • Expertise in AWS services: S3, EC2, KMS, Lambda, MSK, SageMaker, Docker, Kafka, and Kubernetes; strong background in AWS security and access controls in high-security environments.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux OS, Java, Python, and TypeScript.
  • Experience developing and supporting automation and orchestration for IAM services.

Provide installation, configuration, tuning, and management of large Hadoop (Apache Accumulo) clusters supporting data-intensive computing. Responsibilities include installation and maintenance of tools required for the cloud environment and monitoring and sustainment of the environment, including identification and resolution of issues, problems, and trouble tickets.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, deploy, and operate software tools to efficiently manage and monitor large compute clusters
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues within Hadoop and Apache Accumulo environments

We are looking for a Computer Network Defense Analyst (CNDA) to join a growing team in multiple locations such as Annapolis Junction, MD and Salt Lake City, UT. 

Responsibilities:
  • Use information collected from a variety of sources (e.g., intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network traffic logs, and host system logs) to identify potential vulnerabilities, respond to cyber events that occur, and defend against events that might occur.
  • Help develop mitigations to strengthen network defenses and protect against attacks on network infrastructure devices or systems.
  • Work with data transport, such as traditional wired networks, wireless transport (including Wi-Fi and cellular), collaborative platforms such as video teleconferencing, and the hardware and software that support it all.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering, System Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years demonstrated experience within the Department of Defense (DoD) as a Computer Network Defense Analyst.
  • CNDAs must have experience in network or system administration.
  • Experience with Computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering.
  • Foreign Language may count toward experience requirements.
Desired:
  • Relevant Certs or Specialized Training would include (but not limited to): JCAC graduate, CEH, CFR, CySA+, GCIH, CNDSP
Security Clearance:
  • A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

Swift is looking for a Configuration Specialist / SME to prepare, configure, secure, and support end-user hardware (laptops, phones, tablets) and networking infrastructure (routers, switches, access points). This role owns the full lifecycle of these devices from initial build and imaging through deployment, updates, and ongoing troubleshooting, ensuring all assets are secure, compliant with company policies, and fully functional for end-users. The work location is in Northern Virginia.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, configure, test, and deploy Android smartphones, tablets, and laptops (Windows/Mac/Chromebook) according to technical specifications.
  • Install, update, and customize operating systems (Android, Windows, iOS) and required applications and security tools.
  • Create and apply system images for efficient, repeatable mass deployment of devices.
  • Enroll and manage devices in Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms to enforce security, application, and configuration policies.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain routers, switches, wireless access points, and related networking gear, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SSID, IP addressing, LAN/Wi Fi, VPN, and basic firewall settings.
  • Provide break/fix support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues, including diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning hardware (e.g., screens, batteries, basic internal components).
  • Deliver both on-site and remote support to assist users with device setup, network connectivity, and VPN access.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and asset records (serial numbers, IMEI, configuration details) in the asset database/CMDB.
  • Ensure devices meet security and data protection standards, including encryption, antivirus, secure data wiping, and adherence to internal policies.
  • Document configurations, standard procedures, incident history, and service requests to support operational continuity.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, hardware configuration, or mobile device management (1-5 years acceptable depending on breadth of experience).
  • Strong technical knowledge of Android OS and Windows OS; familiarity with iOS and ChromeOS is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of core networking principles and technologies (routers, switches, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN, Wi Fi, VPN).
  • Experience with MDM platforms and managing fleets of mobile and laptop devices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing hardware and software issues.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to follow instructions, document work, and support end-users in a fast-paced environment
  • US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance.

Desired Experience:
  • Experience supporting mixed device environments (Windows, Mac, Chromebook, Android, mobile phones).
  • Experience with inventory management and asset tracking.
  • Experience supporting distributed or remote users, including occasional on-site visits.

The Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist will design, develop, and apply solutions to complex cryptologic and computational problems. This role requires applying advanced computer science and mathematical techniques to analyze data, develop algorithms, and solve mission-driven challenges.
Work will involve designing, developing, and evaluating mathematical models, analytic methods, and computational techniques to support research, engineering, and cryptologic problem-solving efforts.

Responsibilities:
